You have the opportunity to make like-minded friends and develop open-mic, choir, and/or karaoke buddies.
It's no secret that 95% of what's holding us back as singers are our nerves. Standing up and singing in front of a supportive and encouraging group really helps you work through all those nerves that are holding you back

Performance Workshop

The Performance Course is designed for the singer who would now like to take their skills further; on to the stage. Stagecraft is an essential part of your tool kit as a singer. Having gained a decent handle on your voice and the technical skills you need, the ultimate next step is to step in front of an audience and hold their attention.
In this course you will learn how to formulate an 'act', choose material and command an audience. You will be using a microphone for the duration of this course. You will be compiling a "reperatoire" and understanding what makes a good "set list" and what does not.
This course is only open to those who have completed my Beginners Singing Course.
The Performance Workshop is an 8 week course with a limit of 8 students. We will do a final public performance at a Commercial Venue.

Harmony Workshop

Harmony is an essential part of any singers training. Whether you would love to be able to join a choir, be part of a Musical Theatre ensemble, or just for your own pleasure - having the skills to hear and create harmony will be invaluable.
Just as our ears are trained to recognise the subtle differences between sounds in our native languages, so can they be trained to hear the subtle differences between vocal lines. In this course you will learn to listen to the many different sounds that make up the whole of a song. You will also perform songs in harmony and where you are the melody.
In this course we will explore different types of harmony and the essentials of perfect phrasing and finding the "blend" with one another.
