Get Involved

If you're a singer in the Wakatipu area, there are plenty of opportunities to further your expertise.   Open-mic's and jam nights abound in our area.  

Here are some of the ones which I feel offer a supportive and enthusiastic forum for just doing your thing - singing.

A wonderful way to put your singing into practise in a nightclub setting.  Bring your own backing tracks or accompaniment, or allow our hosts to help you.  Blue Door, Arrowtown

Sign-up is at 6pm.  First Sunday of every month.

'WASABI' is Queenstown's first Japanese choir, established in 2015.

Our repertoire includes popular and classical Japanese and Western songs regardless of genre.

We aim to create a variety of music that can be passed on, and we practice in a friendly and fun manner.

No musical experience is necessary; if you want to sing along, if you want to get serious about music or if you want to learn something new, please feel free to come and visit us.

All women's semi-professional choir.  "Voices Unleashed" and an annual concert every year.  These ladies are very popular and joining is by audition held 1-2 times a year.

Repertoire is almost entirely contemporary, with a smattering of Celtic folk, African folk, Gospel.

ANNUAL INTEGRATIVE SHOW OF HARMONIES, CHOIRS AND VISUAL EXTREMES

"VOICES UNLEASHED"  is an annual concert focused on celebrating harmony, choir and the human voice.  

If you've got a harmony group or you have an idea for a performance involving harmony -  submissions of interest are always welcome.
