Curriculum

The Singers Workshop Academy is a two year after-school program geared to giving the young singer a solid foundation in breathing, pitch, harmony and basic music theory.  Students will cover a variety of styles including  classical, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary.
Students will learn how to sight read and follow a basic score and choral score.
Students will be required to complete two performances each year, one as a group and one solo.

Casual Lessons

Every Year in Term's One and Three, The Singers Workshop will conduct individual one-off (or two) lessons for students who are not enrolled in the Academy.
This enables those who cannot get a space at the Academy to get an assessment and some basic comprehensive exercises to work on.
We also recommend students to music teachers in the area.
